In aerospace assembly every work station is unique and unfortunately, the process is not adjusted to the people working there, operators have to adjust themselves. But the human body has many limitations. As a result, operators suffer from neck, shoulders, back and wrist problems. The main cause is exposure to repetitive motions.

Ergofix enables to collect data about operators body position. It can be used to define the recommended time of performing every task based on tool weight, work height and used the group of muscle. It will minimize the operators’ explosion to repetitive motions and improve work organization. Moreover, Ergofix aside from enhancing ergonomics supports the use of modular tools. It is a base for the WS-6 which is a Wearable Selector 6. It is an extension of the current family of Atlas Copco smart toolboxes for modular tools. WS-6 is designed to carry small tool bits and tool heads and remain communication with a tool.
